Where To Buy Tickets?

Let’s cover the basics first. Before all else, I wanted to share with you, some websites that I use to purchase my tickets for musical events. 1) Biletix: Probably the website I visit the most. You can see all types of events, not just musical, in Turkey and sort them out according to city and dates. You can view the sitting plan of the performing halls and choose your seats according to that. Also there are different types of tickets for some concerts and you might get a student discount. When you buy the tickets you can either choose to print them out or to be sent to your address. You can follow Biletix on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to know about upcoming events. 2) Mybilet: This is pretty similar to Biletix. I guess it is mostly for movie tickets but they do sell tickets for several types of events. It has an interactive part on the site named “ Yakınımda ne var”, which translates to: “What’s near me” and it shows the events closest to your location in map. It is pretty nice. 3) Biletiva: Biletiva is a newer platform compared to the other two. It resembles Mybilet, where you can buy tickets for movies as well. It has a special section just for Bilkent Symphony Orchestra’s events. I mostly use it for this exact purpose. |
