The first place we visited and would like to share with you is Sofa Burger, a small boutique burger joint located in the peaceful environment of Umitkoy, Mutlukent. As soon as you enter the place, you are greeted with a nice and calm ambiance that radiates positive energy. You can enjoy your time in the garden of the place as well. During our visit, we had a little chat with the owner of Sofa Burger and learned that they used to serve homemade foods before switching to burgers. The meat they use in their burgers consists of 90% beef and 10% lamb and each patty weighs 120 grams. They make their own bread in their own kitchen, which is buttered and soft.

We tried two of their most popular burgers, the truffle burger, and the goat burger. Although we liked the truffle burger, it wasn’t our favorite, even though the patty was juicy. On the other hand, the goat burger was a winner, and its unique taste was due to the fact that there are not many places in Ankara that use goat cheese. The goat cheese was melted perfectly, creating a sweet and sour flavor. The burgers were filling, served with crispy and delicious fries if you still have room for them. The prices were reasonable compared to other burger cafes/restaurants. Sofa Burger is definitely a place we recommend you try. ​The location of Sofa Burger in Ankara is quite convenient, as it is easily accessible by public transportation. Our second stop was Smash N’out in Beytepe. Firstly, we must mention that they have been delivering delicious food to their customers since 1985, which is an impressive feat. As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by a friendly atmosphere, comfortable seating, and spotless cleanliness. The employees emanated good vibes and were knowledgeable about the menu, which made the ordering process smooth and fast.

They recommended their specialty “dana yanak” burger and also suggested that we try the “double cheeze” burger with onion rings so that we could share our opinion about the taste with our followers. We immediately noticed the unique taste of their sauces, which were all homemade and customizable from the menu, as well as the aroma of their meat. The meat was cooked for 10 hours straight under heavy fire, which resulted in a flavorful and juicy patty. Furthermore, they also bake their buns, which makes their ingredients even more unique.

​The pricing was also reasonable, considering the price-performance ratio. We thoroughly enjoyed the burgers, and believe that they were one of the best burgers we have ever tasted. Additionally, to our surprise, they also made incredible tiramisus for a burger restaurant, which we highly recommend trying.

The Gang Smoked BBQ, located at Bilkent Station, is one of Ankara’s top burger places that you should definitely try and it was our third stop point. The moment you take a bite of their burgers, you will feel the homemade goodness in their self-made bread.

They offer 140-gram meatballs with a perfect blend of homemade barbecue sauce, mac sauce, and aioli sauce. These sauces are truly remarkable, making their burgers a perfect choice for those who love to indulge in new flavors. The Gang Smoked BBQ is known for its loyal customers who keep coming back for their delicious burgers. They also offer a 25% discount on all products between 21.00-02.00 in the evening, so it’s a great opportunity to try their burgers at a discounted price. Currently, the prices of their burgers range from 140-220 TL, and they are worth every penny.
