This week’s event, that is worth checking out is a concert of the band “Yüzyüzeyken Konuşuruz”.Yüzyüzeyken Konuşuruz, is a newly-formed Turkish band. The members, Kaan Boşnak and Engin Sevik started to play together in 2011. For Kaan Boşnak, it started it as a video project. He recorded himself singing and broadcasted them on youtube. Seeing the positive reaction he got, he decided to team up with the electric guitarist Engin Sevik.
Even though the duo is the backbone of the ensemble, the band has had many different members these four years. Currently, apart from the two, there are two more members; bass player Canberk Ünsal and drummer Can Kalyoncu. They put their music under the indie-folk genre. If you like to listen Son Feci Bisiklet, Adamlar or Yok Öyle Kararlı Şeyler, you would like these guys. The band has two albums. The first one “Evdekilere Selam”, released on May 2011, and “Otoban Sıcağı”,released on June 2014. You can listen both of them from the spotify lists below.
