Master of Asian Cusine: Quick China (Bilkent Center)

High food quality with any kind of Asian food

We visited Quick China in Bilkent, Ankara. It has branches in many parts of Ankara, and online orders are also available. California Roll and Mongolian chicken are served immediately after settling on the table. While ordering, the employees and the owner help with the content. When you get food advice from the waiters according to your taste, they will do their best. Therefore do not hesitate to find a dish that suits your taste.

The interior decor is inspired by Asian culture and offers you a different ambiance while you eat. We ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken (59TL), Viking Maki (49TL), and Vegetable Egg Noodle (43TL). I would advise Sweet and Sour Chicken. If you are not used to Asian cuisine, I would definitely recommend it as a starter. The sweet and sour flavors balance each other nicely without overwhelming them. Viking Maki is a delicious taste and brings different flavors together. The ingredients include salmon, avocado, apple, and tobiko. If you want to try other flavors, I definitely recommend it. If you’re going to eat Asian food without risk, I strongly suggest noodles. This flavor, combined with soy sauce and various spices, is one of the cornerstones of Asian cuisine. In general, the taste of all of them was unique and very delicious. When the meal was over, we enjoyed the jasmine tea, which was given as a treat. Don’t forget to book as soon as possible!

🥦 (Vegetarian-friendly)
Price: 💰💰💰💰
Taste: 😋😋😋😋😋
Opening hours: 11:00-22:00
Address: Üniversiteler Mahallesi 4. Uyghur-themed paintings and tablecloths with motifs hung on the walls add an authentic atmosphere to the place, with Uyghur origin owners. The taste is really suitable for Turkish people. Meals come with lots of meat and large portions. Kardeşler Uygur Mutfağı is a small restaurant in Ankara where you can taste authentic Asian food at an affordable price. We ate Makarna Kavurması (40TL) and Dumpling (18TL). We liked the taste even more when we tried it with hot sauce. Makarna Kavurması was a delicious meal. It was super nutritious. If you haven’t tried it yet, you should definitely try it. In addition, we ordered a dumpling on the side Dumpling contains vegetables and meat. It was enough in size since we ate it like appetizers. We think it will suit everyone’s taste. In addition, the service was quite fast. You can go there by the campus shuttle bus. After you get off at the Tunus stop, you only need to take five minutes to walk to get there.

Korelee is always packed with customers, so if you want to enjoy your food without waiting too long, we suggest you arrive at the restaurant 20 to 30 minutes earlier. Once you get in the restaurant, the background music is playing Korean songs. The decoration of Korelee is not a traditional Korean restaurant. However, they have a beautiful wall background with neon lights, Korean words, flowers, and a bench for you and your friends to sit on it. You can take a nice picture and post it on your social media!✨

Below are two dishes you must try in Korelee.😊

Spicy Tteokbokki (35TL). Tteokbokki (떡볶이) is a rice cake that is popular among Koreans. The spicy and chewy taste would make you can’t stop eating! They also have a non-spicy version called Rose Tteokbokki (38TL), which adds milk, cream, and cheddar beside the primary ingredients. However, we would suggest you try the local spicy Tteokbokki if you can eat spicy food.

Fried chicken (33TL-43TL). There are 6 types of fried chicken (후라이드 치킨) in Korelee. For people who can eat spicy food, we would suggest Traditional Yangnuym Fried Chicken (38TL). You can taste sweet, sour, and spicy tastes at the same time in their special sauce. For others, Traditional Fried Chicken With Soy (38TL) is your best option. However, no matter which flavor you choose, they are all delicious. The fried chicken is crispy, but the meat is still juicy and tender at the same time.

Because Korelee is managed by local Koreans, our Korean friends also recommend the quality and taste! Besides, they have local Korean ingredients, spices, and snacks inside the restaurant for sale. Some waiters can speak in Korean, so the order experience would be more interesting if you knew how to say in Korean.

Price: 💰💰💰
Taste: 😋😋😋😋
Opening hours: 11:30-21:00
Address: Kavaklıdere, Bestekar Cd No:27, 06900 Çankaya/Ankara
Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/koreleetr/

4. A Unique Approach to Chinese Food: Guangzhou Wuyang

A Wide Mixture of Asian Food

Guangzhou Wuyang is located in Tunalı’s popular street, the heart of Ankara: Bestekar Street just near Masabaşı Kebapçısı. It was opened in 1987. Its story is intriguing: Kenan Evren made a pact in his China trip: Ankara should open 2 Chinese restaurants. Its cook and owner are Chinese, making the place’s ambiance and food even closer to the original Chinese food even though there are other Asian foods. Besides, it is one of the oldest Chinese or Asian restaurants in Ankara.

When we entered the restaurant, we were greeted with Chinese lambs and paintings. Then, first, an extensive thick menu comes with a promotion menu. Waiters answer all our questions about what tastes good, spicy or hot, and the sizes of the menu. After we had ordered, Kimchi, a Korean kind of hot tangy sauerkraut, came as an appetizer that we thought tasted delicious and couldn’t take our hands-off. We ordered one noodle with beef and 2 spring rolls, one sweet and sour chicken with rice from the promotion menu, and Kimchi soup from the original menu.

The promotion menu especially is very economical. You can order 2 spring rolls with hot and sour soup and another menu. The noodle with beef and the sweet and sour chicken with rice was in a considerable portion, and we almost couldn’t finish it, although we did because it was delicious 🙂 The noodle is an original noodle, but it is flavored with Soy Sauce and other Chinese sauces. Kimchi soup was very spicy and hot, and Ece needed to drink a lot of water to balance its hotness. The sweet and sour chicken is mixed with sweet and sour sauce served with rice next to it. Also, Gigi ordered Wonton soup, and although she liked it, she says that it is a bit different than the one she had in Hong Kong. All in all, Asian foodies who want to try other Asian foods should try this restaurant often visited by Asian foodies and embassies!

Price: 💰💰💰💰
Taste: 😋😋😋😋
Opening hours: 12:00-22:00
Address: Bestekar Sokak 88/B Kavaklıdere/Ankara Turkey
Website: http://www.trwuyang.com/ All in all, Quick China is the most recommended restaurant to us.
