\n\u200bMarking the end of my blog, I wanted to do something different. I decided to write about an event that I attended last year. The concert took place in my own university, Bilkent, as a follow-up show after the gala of Sinefest 2015.It was a pretty special night for me because it was the first time I was sent by the university newspaper to cover an entire event by myself. I thought it would be poetic to end my blog, writing about the first event that I reviewed.<\/p>\n

\u200bIt was by a band called \u201cSon Feci Bisiklet\u201d, whom I mentioned in one of my earlier posts. The band\u2019s hometown is Ankara which I must admit amuses me, because, it\u2019s nice to finish off my blog \u201cMusical Events in Ankara\u201d by a musical event in Ankara by a band from Ankara.The band consisted of; Arda Tezok (Vocalist), Can S\u00fcrmen (Drummer), Efe G\u00fcner (Bass guitarist) and Erkin Sa\u011fsen (Lead guitarist) was formed in 2011 in Ankara (as mentioned above), which the band members say is their favourite city.<\/p>\n

They actually first started to get attention after they were one of the finalists in the music contests \u201cBe the Band\u201d and \u201cRoxy\u2019s Music Days\u201d in 2012.<\/p>\n

They recorded their first EP in 2013 and made their launch in IF Performance Hall here in Ankara.<\/p>\n

Their first (and most current) full-length album \u201cVesaire\u201d was released on June 2015.<\/p>\n

Their self-described genre is \u201calternative\u201d, which seems vague in writing but you can find their spotify account below and listen and judge for yourself. \u00a0\u200b
