In all of my trips to Turkey I never heard of city&#8217;s name until I applied to Bilkent University, located in Ankara. Most people are unaware that Ankara city is worthy to visit, because Istanbul gets all the fame and visitors. In this post I&#8217;ll share some great places in Ankara and I\u00a0advise every Arab student or tourist to visit. \ud83d\ude42<\/span><\/div>\n<h2 class=\"wsite-content-title\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: x-large;\">Places you must visit in Ankara!<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<h2 class=\"wsite-content-title\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: large;\"> Ankara Castle (Ankara Kalesi):<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<div class=\"paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/Ankara+Kalesi\/@39.941594,32.8633556,17z\/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0x7415e004939401c0!8m2!3d39.941594!4d32.8655443\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span style=\"color: #626262;\">Ankara Castle<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-size: large;\">is a symbol of Turkey&#8217;s long history and its one of the most attractions to visitors in Ankara nowadays. Its one of Ankara&#8217;s most popular locations as it is considered as a hub for both cultural and artistic activities.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: large;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/d\/viewer?mid=1L42iFu9yx5QsmnJb9FljpcNLA2c&amp;hl=tr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #626262;\">Sanat (Art) Street<\/span><\/a>\u00a0is one of the most worth areas of Hamam\u00f6n\u00fc. The street contains 22 houses where artists use the top floors as workshops and the bottom floors as a gallery to display their work for people to buy them. The street also includes a handicraft\u00a0bazar where woman can sell their products on their stands. Its a very bustling street and it satisfies the people needs from different ages.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span style=\"color: #515151;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/Tunal%C4%B1+Hilmi+Cd.,+%C3%87ankaya%2FAnkara,+Turkey\/@39.9090789,32.8597706,17z\/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x14d34fa451d31dc5:0xa4488722d3a846a7!8m2!3d39.9090789!4d32.8619593\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tunal\u0131 Hilmi Caddesi<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>is one of the busiest shopping avenues in Ankara as it has arrays of\u00a0restaurants, cafes, pubs, antique and silver shops, second hand book stores, old records stores, famous brands, the largest Beymen store in Ankara and Karum shopping\u00a0centre. It also has the biggest book and CD store of Turkey (D&amp;R) in 5 floors with an English section. Its an enjoyable place where people can have a walk around the lake (about 10km long),\u00a0jogging or cycling. Some people go there for a picnic specially in spring as they bring their own food and eat it there, however others prefer to eat from the\u00a0restaurants located next to the lake (mostly\u00a0specialised in fish). This city has a large number of\u00a0shopping malls, each mall has its own style and most famous brands. They have both local and international stores, selling everything from gifts and jewellery to clothes and shoes. You\u2019ll also find a cinema, restaurants, and bistros. There are two buildings connected to each other and they form the Armda mall. Sunlight that comes by breaking through the water creates a peaceful and shimmering environment.
