As you know I was born and raised in Qatar, for this reason this city means the world to me and I think its a city thats worth visiting.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Luckily Turkish citizens don&#8217;t need a visa for\u00a0entering the country anymore. So you can come whenever you want and all you need to do is book a ticket, pack your bag and go to the\u00a0airport. \ud83d\ude09\u00a0The distance from Turkey to Qatar is around 1495 miles, which is 3 hours and 40 minutes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2 class=\"wsite-content-title\">About Doha, Qatar<\/h2>\n<div class=\"paragraph\">\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Following the Ottoman\u00a0rule, Qatar became a British protectorate in the early 20th century until gaining independence in 1971. It has been ruled by the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/House_of_Thani\">House of Thani<\/a>\u00a0since the early 19th century.\u00a0Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani\u00a0was the founder of the State of Qatar. It is a hereditary monarchy and its head of state is Emir\u00a0Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Qatar is a\u00a0high income economy\u00a0and is a developed country, backed by the world&#8217;s third largest\u00a0natural gas reserves\u00a0and oil reserves.\u00a0The country has the\u00a0highest\u00a0per capita income\u00a0in the world and it\u00a0will host the\u00a02022 FIFA World Cup, becoming the first Arab country to do so.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Doha is gradually becoming a heaven on earth, a metropolis is rich in culture and sprinkled with stunning attractions. With its rapid growth and transformation, Doha may become the most visited city in the Middle East, surpassing Dubai.<\/span>\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: large;\">If you are planning a vacation filled with many exciting activities and sight-seeing, you should probably visit Doha. From architectural wonders, fine restaurants, amazing shopping malls and bustling markets, the city has many things for you to experience.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2 class=\"wsite-content-title\">Things to do in Doha, Qatar<\/h2>\n<div class=\"paragraph\">\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Well, there&#8217;s plenty of stuff to keep you up on your toes during your stay in Doha!<\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\">\u00a0Take a peek at some of people&#8217;s favorite attractions in Doha.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Pearl-Qatar\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Pearl-Qatar<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><span style=\"color: #2a2a2a;\">\u00a0is\u00a0situated offshore of the city\u2019s West Bay Lagoon area in Doha. This is a man-made island, shaped like a pearl featuring luxury villas and apartments, hotels and resorts, shopping malls and entertaining centres. It is over 250 years old and has this labyrinthine alleyways that has shops weaved around. It is here that you will see endangered milky-white antelopes and gazelles. This is the first place where the Arabian Oryx were breed in captivity in the Arab nation.
